If you are new to building a home business or have simply always used offline strategies, then the idea of marketing and building it online might seem a bit daunting, overwhelming, or confusing at first.

But have no fear because in today’s post we are going to share with you some simple and concrete strategies to truly maximize your results. Our goal by the end of this post is for you to leave feeling empowered and ready to generate red hot leads for your business each and every day leveraging Facebook.

So let’s get into the steps:

If you are currently using your personal Facebook profile to grow your business, it might be time to start branching out to scale it up with a business page.

Your personal profile can be an awesome tool to make 5-10 new personal connections each day, but a business page has a few added benefits that can really help you ramp things up!

Unfortunately, too many people are not provided with the proper training which only sets them back straight out of the gate.

Actions such sharing constant promotional material, spamming links to your business opportunity in groups or private chat, and adding people to groups without their permission are all things that will not only annoy your family and friends, but they are also actions that can compromise your account.

So what’s the solution? Keep your personal profile for building relationships and start leveraging a business page!

What are some of the benefits of a business page vs a profile?

  • Access to Facebook insights and detailed data
  • Has more a professional feel which can help with authority
  • Ability to leverage PAID ads
  • Avoid being being shut down by Facebook for violating policies

Need a training on how to set up a branded business page? I made this free training a while back that you can watch HERE.

Once you create your page, fill in relevant info, and start adding content, the best thing to start doing is growing your audience!

You can do this by running your first LIKES ad, inviting people to like your page (perfect if you already have a prospect or customer base), sharing content from your fan page into relevant groups, or using your business page to comment and engage on other posts to drive traffic back to yours.

Whether you choose ONE of those options or a combination of many, the most important thing is that you keep building a highly targeted audience daily.

As your audience starts and continues to grow,  it’s not crucial that you stay consistent with sharing value on your page.

Even though it is a BUSINESS page, that still doesn’t mean you simply share promotions or links.

You want to become a person of value. You want people in your niche to be able to come to your page and think “WOW, this is where to go to get the BEST info about [fill in the blank].”

Basically, you utilize your business page to become an expert, build trust, and create authority for your brand.

So what kinds of content can you share that will add VALUE to your target market?

  • Blog posts
  • Videos
  • Images & Infographics
  • Inspiring quotes and messages
  • Tutorials and demos
  • Free offers
  • Success stories

Focus on informing, educating, entertaining, and solving problems for your target audience. The more you do this, the more you will be seen as a valuable business that people will be begging to learn more about!

Video can be one of the most powerful tools in your marketing arsenal. When you think about just HOW MUCH information is out there on the web, is there any doubt that video stands out above the rest?

Think for a minute about how many decisions you have made in your personal or business life where video made an impact on that decision….

Maybe you found your current business through a video. Or you watched an ad on TV and went on to buy that product. Or if you’re anything like us, you’ve used video to help you learn a new skill or solve a problem that you were facing.

Whatever the case, taking advantage of video in today’s online world is a MUST.

40% of consumers state that video increases the chance they’ll purchase a product on their mobile device. – Adobe

Even if right now in this moment you are thinking, “NO WAY can I or will I ever put myself on video”, there are still ways to get started without actually being on camera such as screen share videos, animated videos, and putting together presentations.

However, we will say that if you are building a brand around YOURSELF, then at some point the world will want to see YOUR face, hear YOUR voice, and feel YOUR energy…

No one can replace you and your authenticity when it comes to video.

So what are the main reasons you should be EMBRACING video to build your business?

  • It is where people spend a ton of time online
  • It helps build rapport & fosters trust faster than other methods
  • It allows real-time engagement, feedback, and interaction (when LIVE)
  • People share videos easily and frequently (free traffic!)
  • Provides a source of super cheap traffic (as little as 1 PENNY views on FB)
  • It can be super search friendly when optimized correctly

After following steps 1-3, your Facebook page will be rocking and ready for PAID traffic! This is where you can really start to get your business in front of 100s to 1000s of targeted people each day.

The main goal when running Facebook ads for your home business is to take people from ice cold prospects (who don’t yet know who the heck you are) and transition them to warm prospects and then red hot buyers and loyal brand followers.

To do this you want to focus on following a specific process that brings people through your funnel and ultimately to a buying decision.

Your Facebook ads process will look a little something like this:

  1. Create a blog post or solid piece of content to promote to your cold market through Facebook ads (helps them get to know you and your value)
  2. Retarget the people who actually clicked on your ad and viewed your content with some type of free offer (your market is getting warmer)
  3. Follow up with the people who then opted into your free offer through email broadcasts or over the phone (getting hotter)
  4. Convert your hottest leads and most interested prospects into BUYERS

As you can see from this sales flow process, it is a way to easily guide people through the buying process without being pushy or salesy.

The best part is that ONLY your most interested prospects will continue down the funnel.

You don’t have to worry about convincing anyone, hosting home parties, or doing three way calls. Unless you want to…then by all means keep rocking those strategies!

You can truly leverage this amazing platform that allows you to reach thousands of potential prospects with the proper training paired with TAKING ACTION.

Super Easy Twitter Marketing Strategy to Share Content, Increase Engagement, and Get Leads

Are you looking for a simple Twitter marketing strategy to grow your business? We recently learned some awesome new Twitter strategies on a training by our buddy Adam Chandler and the results have been so amazing. We knew we need to share this training with you

If you already use Twitter marketing, you probably know that consistent content, activity, and engagement are big factors for success. However, most people don’t have hours to sit around and tweet all day.

The other dilemma of course is that you also don’t want to appear as a pre-scripted unengaged robot on your page. So how do you strike a balance?

This is where an awesome tool known as TWEET JUKEBOX comes into play.

Tweet Jukebox allows you to automate the content distribution aspects of your Twitter marketing strategy, such as welcoming new followers and sharing tweets. It therefore frees up more of your time to actually engage with your new followers and create meaningful relationships.

Now you are able to deliver massive value all day long (content that is rotated and uploaded to your Twitter account) while still showing people you are indeed a real person. 😉

So how do you go about using Tweet Jukebox the best way? We’re going to show you exactly how we are using it right now so all you need to do is learn and apply!

First, which Tweet Jukebox plan should you choose?

While they do have a FREE plan option (and totally choose that if that’s what you want), we went ahead and chose the “Advanced Plan” for $12.99 per month. This is simply due to the fact that we needed more than 2 Jukeboxes right from the start. If you choose to group your Jukeboxes differently, you could definitely choose the FREE plan and then upgrade whenever the need arises.

What jukeboxes should you create?

This is where you can get creative with your specific marketing plan and niche. I am going to show you what we create with ours and then also give a few tips on different jukeboxes you can create for some other niches.

So let’s get started with what’s in our Tweet Jukeboxes.

Blog Posts

Blog posts provide massive value to your audience, brand you as an expert in your niche, and give your audience a place to learn more about you. This helps build tons of trust. If you aren’t yet blogging for your business, you need to start.

What you do is simply add any (or all) of your blog posts, one by one, as tweets into Tweet Jukebox. Write a catchy 140 character Tweet that includes something about the blog post, a link to the post, and the featured photo for the post.

Lead Magnets

While you want to share at least 90% value posts on your page, you can sprinkle in a few promotional style posts as well. This is where you can use lead magnets or any special offers you have created.

As members of MLSP, you can actually get access to a ton of different high converting done-for-you lead magnets. There is everything from Facebook and Instagram marketing to prospecting and list building.

For example, you can give away one of the MLSP free trainings on how to build your business with Facebook. You can write something along the lines of “{FREE VIDEO} How ANYONE Can Get 25 Cent #Leads with #Facebook Mobile Ads” and then include the link and optionally, an image.

Do this consistenly a couple times a day, while still tying in your value posts, and you will definitely notice an increase in lead flow for your business.

MLSP Blog Posts

This is another really cool perk about being an MLSP member. You are able to freely share the blog content with your own custom link. This link turns every offer (both in-text and banners) on the page to your own affiliate link. Pretty cool, huh?

The best part about this method is that you get to leverage the high quality content of marketers who have mastered certain strategies. They share their best stuff of this blog and then you are able to share the content and get credit for any actions that are taken while the visitor is there (i.e. opting in as a lead, signing up as a new member, etc).

Business Tips

Another jukebox we created is one for business and marketing tips. This is where we share things like social media, video, SEO, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and mindset tips to help grow your business.

You can easily create some of these as images or just simply write the tips as text with some hashtags. I am sure you will have no problem coming up with a ton of these as they are simply just short little blurbs of value. 🙂

Here is an example of one we created using Canva:

Text Quotes

The final tweet jukebox we have (at least for now) is one for simple text quotes. This is even easier than the image quotes because all you need to do is keep feeding it new quotes every time you come across a new one to share. The default Jukebox that is included when you sign up actually already has a bunch of quotes that you could use too.

One thing you can do to spice it up and get some more engagement is to use hashtags in the post. This helps other people find you through common interests.

How often should you schedule your tweets?

You won’t necessarily be scheduling your tweets out in a particular order like other social media schedulers. In this case, your job is to fill up your Jukeboxes with as much content as possible and let the program rotate and distribute your content on schedule.

What you WILL choose is the frequency for each jukebox. For example, you might set your TEXT QUOTES to tweet every 45 minutes whereas you might choose to tweet out blog posts only every few hours.

The schedule can be completely tailored to YOU and the amount of content you currently have. The more content you have, the more frequently you can set it to post.

Super easy, right? We are loving Tweet Jukebox right now and highly suggest you check it out if you’re looking to start getting serious on Twitter.

If you enjoyed this training and want to learn even more about this Twitter marketing strategy, in addition to learning how to attract highly targeted followers and generate leads, then be sure to watch the rest of the FREE Twitter training that Adam put together which fills in those missing pieces!

3 Tips for Growing Your Network Marketing Business with a Facebook Fan Page

Have you jumped on the Facebook fan page bandwagon? If not, what’s stopping you?

The other day I showed you how and why you should absolutely be branding yourself with a fan page if you are in a network marketing company.

And today, I want to share with you some key tips for maximizing that fan page in order to attract ideal prospects and grow a successful organization. Facebook is proving to be an incredible platform when it comes to advertising for business, but it’s important to understand how to use it properly if you want to stand out from the crowd (and keep your ad account safe).

If you don’t know what you’re doing you can easily risk wasting tons of money on ads with no profitable results to show for it.

This post will cover my top three tips for gaining traction with your branded fan page in order to get the best results.

#1 Build authority and become the go-to person for your niche

When it comes to marketing a network marketing business on Facebook (or anywhere really), it is important to remember that you need to stand out from the thousands of other reps. In my branding video, I covered how to do that, such as not using your company’s name or any trademarked information in your fan page. Most companies have strict policies against this and it’s better to be safe than sorry.

The way around this however is to use generic terms related to what your company sells. If your company is in health and beauty, you can use terms like skincare, anti-aging, weight loss, and fitness. If your company is in the fashion niche, you can use terms like handbags, jewelry, and accessories. You get the point…

The KEY is to keep it simple and create curiosity!

Rather than simply pitching products or giving away all of the information about your primary business, share personal stories, results, and a “day in the life” type posts. If you give away everything about your company’s products, what’s to stop someone from doing a quick Google search and buying from someone else?

Some of the most successful network marketers I know simply create fun posts that get people engaged on their content, asking to learn more.

For example, a Beachbody coach might share pictures of them doing their daily workout or drinking a Shakeology shake. They might share pictures of company events or special trips that top coaches earn through incentives. They might share how the company has changed their financial life by allowing them to purchase their first home or send their child off to college.

The point is that the more generic and simple you keep it, the more curiosity and buzz you create. Then you start to have people asking you what you do and how they can do it too. Pretty cool, huh?

#2 Run targeted LIKES and Post Engagement ads to people who might be interested in your products or services

As you start to share content on your fan page that you know your target audience would love, the next thing to do is to grow that audience and continue to get your content in front of them through Facebook ads.

First, I would suggest running a LIKES campaign to interests related to your company. When it comes to choosing interests, think of major leaders, programs, authors, books, or keywords for your niche.

For example, when I want to get my ad in front of network marketers, I might target people who like Network Marketing Pro, Ray Higdon, and Jim Rohn.

Think about who your target market already follows to determine the best interests!

As you start to build your page, fill it with valuable content, and get that content in front of people who will find value you in it, soon enough you will start to have people expressing more and more interest in what you promote.

#3 Engage and converse with your fans

This one is key! Since social media and network marketing are both very much rooted in personal intereactions, you want to make a habit of replying and engaging with anyone who shows interest on your page.

If someone leaves a comment on a post, reply back to them. If you get messages to your fan page inbox, write back to those people within 24 hours. If you get shares on your content or people tag their friends to learn more, be sure to personally thank them for spreading the word for you.

Sincerity and genuine connections go a long way. It is truly what makes social media and sites like Facebook stand out from so many other marketing methods.

Be personal. Be friendly, Be authentic!

The more people get to see that you are a real person sharing your passion, the more they will get to know, like, and trust you. And of course, I am sure you already know that rapport is essential to building a thriving network marketing business.

I hope you found this post helpful in providing some proven strategies for building your network marketing business with Facebook.

Remember as always, the key is to implement!

How to Create a Branded Facebook Fan Page for Your Home Business

Have a home business to promote?

Want to leverage a Facebook fan page to build a loyal following, generate leads,  and make sales?

In today’s video I show you how to create a BRANDED page to help you build credibility and authority, share valuable content with  your audience, and stand out from the 1000s of other reps in your company!

A common mistake I see a lot of network marketing reps make when they decide to use Facebook to market their business is that they completely brand the company they are in rather than themselves.

Why is it a problem to brand your company rather than yourself?

1. You don’t set yourself apart from everyone else doing the exact same thing.

2. It can appear spammy and turn off potentially amazing business partners because no one wants to be pitched nonstop.

3. You never establish credibility and authority because you are simply sharing pictures of products that people have seen a million times before.

Here is the thing to remember about bringing your network marketing company online. The fundamentals remain the same as offline.

It is crucial that you focus on relationships, building rapport, and providing value to your market.

Not to mention, your company probably already has their own fan page branded their products and services, so why would you want to give them all of YOUR traffic?

Some companies even have policies that forbid you from using their trademark names, logos, and wording on your own business page. So you gotta be careful with that one!

Take a look at the top leaders in every company and you will notice a trend.

They brand themselves. They share stories and value on their pages and they keep promotion to a minimum.

So why not take the safer and more profitable route and create yourself a branded fan page that highlights YOU as the focal point? You can learn exactly how to do that in today’s video.
